Fantastic job coloring Daiba's ship; the subdued colors with the steam just make the scene that much eerier. If it takes you that long to make something this good, by all means, take your time.

Your coloring skills just keep getting better and better.  :SK:

mmm... more

I like this one too!  I'd sharpen Guts, or at least sharpen the highlights on Guts on this one.  It kinda meshes all together (I realize its foggy but it can't ALL be blurry).  But I really like the warm and cool tones.
Great stuff...
post more, you know the drill.

God damn, you did this to make me look bad, didn't you!  Awesome work, like Jhot Obs said, the blurry fog on the ship is truly fantastic.  Casca and the child are excellent, the lighting is simply perfect.

I really like it. Definately captures the idea that Guts is in for something big. The fog effect works well for the background. I think Guts' armor would look better with stronger highlights, and crisper detail like CnC mentioned and also if you took the time to show the different colors reflecting off of the armor roughly the way it would on real metal. It's tough because it's mostly black in the manga, but would add alot to it and make Guts really stand out if you could pull it off. Nice stuff!! :zodd:

Very nice work on the coloring - love the fog effect.  Everything looks great, and I agree with CnC on sharpening Guts up to make him stand out a little bit better; I also agree with Borgoff's idea on making stronger highlights and maybe reflections on the armor.  Other than that the DS could also use a bit of reflection or highlights, since it kind of gets absorbed into the background otherwise.

And the pic of Casca and the demon child is damn near perfect.  The colors, lighting, and shading are all excellent; this has to be my favorite piece of your work thus far.  Post more.  :guts:

I like the Casca/Mozgus one the most. It's really good. The Zodd and Guts one I find a bit dull, but then again they're supposed to be in the middle of the fog, so I guess that's normal. Otherwise it's great, technically and all. I like Guts & Zodd themselves a lot. The Guts with helmet picture I think lacks contrast or something on parts of the armor that should be a more solid black, IMHO.

Anyway, great job overall. Keep going man. :guts:

Holy crap, gorgeous!  The works in progress look fantastic too.  Wow.  The Iron Maiden one is byootiful spooky.

Hey, the hosting's my pleasure!  Let me know if you hit any limits on that thing, I think it's all on default album sizes or something.

wow, great update and a nice preview... may I ask who the cyborg-guy in the bottom right corner is?
Rock Concert Manual #237:
Taking the audience to a jungian journey into the collective unconscious by using the shadow as a metaphor for the primal self that gets repressed by the modern persona... and also by using an underground setting and labyrinth office design to represent both: the depths of the psyche and the dungeon-like isolation of our increasingly mechanistic society which prevents people from finding satisfying work or meaningful connections with others.
