because i saw casca had short hair style when she was hawk solder,
then a few year after the eclipse at Albion she had long hair style.

He doesn't need to cut his hair, existing in the Interstice prevents hair from growing. Check the encyclopedia for more info.

Guts just goes into battle and after a few close calls his hair is trimmed and nice.

I would surmise that he cuts it himself because he sees longer hair as a risk of getting in his eyes during battle. That, or he's afraid of change.

What about Casca? When she gave birth to her child she was already in the interstice and she had short hair. 2 years after, she has long hair.

Don't confuse people, even if you're joking and include a troll emoticon people will think you're serious. Being in the Instertice doesn't prevent hair from growing.

Thanks to those who replied at least semi-seriously. Obviously we can deduce that Guts cuts his hair himself since he's been in age to do it. And as Walter so subtly pointed out, just like when he washes or takes a shit in the wild, we don't get to see it. That's because it's a manga, and only the interesting stuff is shown to us. We don't see Guts brushing his teeth, yet his dentition is flawless. We could go on forever with inept details like that.
