The characters didn't have much develoment together at all and it made the story fell realy really disconnected and rushed because of it, plus a little cheesy at certain points in the movie. (Like when Peter asks orieus if he's "with him" and Orieus says "to the death," yet they don't even seem to know each other at all and we haven't even got much screen time with Orieus.)
I don't remember the book being look that, seemed like they tried to rush through it and cram as much as they could into it.
