I'm curious to see what you can do to meet these "the unplayed note sounds the sweetest" expectations. Oh, and I already saved myself a copy of this version, so go ahead and finish it. I'm greedy. =)

Well, this is an interesting turn of events. There is something to be said about the artisitic implication, but man I do love porn-lamp lighting...
decisions, decisions...

Well, there's something that I'm sure not many considered and that's all the other projects you won't be working on while trying to finish this one. If you want to give it a try go for it though, it's better than to spend 3 days hesitating about it. :guts:

2700 hit. Picture's due.

Well I took it as a bit of a challenge to finish this one and yet maintain that artistic flare that some liked in the sketch. It isn't quite at the level of silhouettes, mind you, but I hope people like it:

Koko like. Personally, while the silhouettes stand well on their own, I think they pale by comparison to the finished product. I especially like the details of their bodies, how you colored and contrast that.

Above and beyond my expectations. You really polished this one to perfection. I love how the details get subtle lighting, but you can see how intricate they are still. Very nice.

Thanks! That was pretty much my mission statement on the detailing word for word.

At the risk of repeating what everybody else has said, I love the details and the subtlety of the shading. Oh, and the grass is real nice. :guts:

The best colored art as far as I'm concerned. Good colors, good lighting, good details... Perfect

It's not a coloration, CnC actually repainted the scene from scratch.

yup. For these smaller panels that I want to give some added focus I've come to prefer the paintover rather than blow-up a scan of it.
I was hoping to create an animated gif of the progress on this one but I had a power outage and lost the layered file that showed the steps. Ah well.

Anyways I'll generate a full rez version of this and post it when I get back home. Thanks again for all the comments, guys :guts:

Bloody beautiful.

The cloak edges are a little sharper than I'd like, but really, that is the only trivial criticism I can find.

Whoah, nice, I haven't been here in awhile. Your painting skill looks like it doubled since the last one i looked at.
