I had never noticed that... and yet it was already visible in the manga: check out the last 2 pages of the "Toki no Kaze 1" chapter in volume 22...  :)

EDIT: It was even noticeable when he was standing on Zoddo's hand, a few chapters before...
I really need a new pair of eyes... o_O;;

Ok, so about the hilt. It looks like a certain 'symbol' the the so-called holy fanatics worshipped.

But the face is, for the first time, accurate to precise detail of Muira's original character. Which I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing. The first thing I noticed at the new griffith is that the facial features are less anime abnormal since chapter 13.
