Sort of like that guy from Yale, or someplace, except that it's from the 80s, he's talking to Mr. Kubrick (one of the GREATEST directors of all time, but notquiteasgoodasmichaelcurtizthedirectoroftheseahawk *ahem*), and it's an audition tape for Full Metal Jacket.

best... audition... ever...

Great stuff, the clip at the end showing the movie he "re-enacted" was just precious. All thats left to say:
"What is your major malfunction, numbnuts? Didn't Mommy and Daddy show you enough attention when you were a child? " :guts:

Who hired this guy? It wouldn't be so bad if he was describing how to make ... ice water. But this guy's describing the prototype of some kind of canoe-doomsday device. I'm not sure but I can't stop laughing.

He's talking about water simulation. And I had no trouble understanding what he was saying. Actually I kinda like this vid for being informative, but its a pity all most people took out of it was to make fun of his accent. Grand.

Sorry, I posted that with my girlfriend's account, since I was on her laptop. I'll continue as MYSELF.

You had no trouble understanding him? It's informative? Wow, is there something productive about virtual canoes that I'm missing? Are they the WAVE of the future? :carcus:

Paint me ignorant but I just think they picked the wrong guy to explain a complex, math-driven, elaborate, realtime, precomputed database wave simulator.

Well if he/they had the option to go with a radio personality they should have done so. But I'm guessing he/they didn't have that option.

He didn't attempt to explain the algorithm used to determine the simulation, rather show the simplification used to get the desired result to run in real time. I think thats pretty cool.

But I'm kinda into this sort of thing. Heres a pretty cool video of completely simulated water:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Pmm9UKqc5I&eurl=

I think that sort of thing is pretty awesome and I like whenever someone tries to explain the process (who in this case is probably some grad student working on a thesis). Which is why I think its fucked up when the video is labeled purely for the bad english.
Its pretty obvious that this dude is a shit ton smarter than me so I choose to respond with (in my strongest southern accent), "You shore tahlk funnahy. Ah-hyuck".

Well, I don't normally take the moral high ground when discussing YouTube videos. My bad. :carcus:

Its ok. You're only human.

Now this is awesome, the Friday the 13th series in 7 minutes. If you thought that Walter's kill roster for Guts was cool, you're sure to love this; even includes kill counter! On the other hand, if you don't want to see a woman cut in half vertically, even for a split second, probably not for you.

BTW, I noticed some strange inconsistencies in criteria and omissions, but you can see most of those in the related videos which include every individual Friday film cut into 7 minute editions themselves (useful if you want to watch one but are not into the 90 minutes of crap).

It's pretty cool I admit. Our friend Jason sure knows how to break necks and impale people.
