He's (was) a new character that we won't ever see in the manga, AFAIK.

So does anyone know what the hidden weapons are?

So far we have:
-Dragonslayer
-Band of the Hawks sword
-Earth Axe
-Electric Guitar

There are 8 others judging by that screen shot.

Totally new character that plays a big role in the game.  Normally I dont like it when game deviate from the original story but this however was a welcome addition for me.

i just beat charles...

yes, he is an apostle...
and his part in the game was awasome(even thought i dont read japanese i caught the gist)... does anyone know where to get a game translation?

this game is too frickin' good...

the counters and branded moves make the game, especially in the boss battles...

i have been playin it all day and just made it to slann...

edit: okay... i just beat it! ho-lee-shit! i played all day... strange thing though, normal mode is a little to easy... i beat the whole game without dying once... 8 hours without dying once? i suggest you people try "hard" when you get the chance...

the berserk armor was unbelievable.... the counters, oh my g-d the counters!!!!

so hard to choose a favorite boss battle...

the-magicbox.com

Lets hope the game sells more than 200,000 copies total which it probably will. It should convince Yukes to develop another Berserk game for either the PS2 or for the PS3.  8)

Alright so now we have

-Dragonslayer
-Band of the hawks sword
-Electric Guitar
-Earth Axe
-Fire Knife

7 more to go.

Wouldn't surprise me if he got Serpico's Wind feather.  Or one of Zodd's swords.

You can add Casca's sword and Azan's Iron staff, well they aren't officialy named like that but they look exactly the same(and the Iron Staff is also the same as the one wielded by the Zombie boss).

Ah and i forgotted the pole Axe.

Ah also, the Zodd's sword is named Zanbato 斬馬刀.

Okay thanks for the info (I didn't knew what was a poleaxe ???).

And Grunbeld War hammer.

Well you almost got them all dwarfkicker, there is only the ultimate weapon who is missing but she is hard to obtain.

I've never heard of that.  What's it look like? And please don't tell me it's a larger version of his bloody needles.

His "bloody needles" are chestnut burrs on sticks. I didn't see any picture of it yet, so I can't tell you its size.

2) Poleaxe (100-animal murder LV2 cleared)
3) Casca's sword (100-animal murder LV3 cleared)
4) Isidro's fire dagger (100-animal murder LV4 cleared)
5) Grunberd's Battle Hammer (100-animal murder LV5 cleared)
6) Wooden Club (100-animal murder LV6 cleared)
7) Azan's Iron staff (100-animal murder LV7 cleared)
8] Elemental Axe (100-animal murder LV8 cleared)
9) Electric Guitar (100-animal murder LV9 cleared)
10) Zodd's sword (100-animal murder LV10 cleared)
11) Puck's Bloody Needle (or something close). (All stages finished with 0%)
