this could get interesting....
Oh, youre a lesbian?
what say we move this into a different posting folder? Ill create one
But now that we have those explanations about how the Holy See is responsible for the slow disappearance of legendary creatures, it's not _that_ far-fetched anymore...The frontier between our world and Void's wasn't clearly established yet, back then (Olivier: that's got to be the worst part of the whole thing :( ).
Couldn't that "leader" be Flora? Puck said there were witches as well, in Elfhelm...Gaiseric was badly wounded, but survived. As he was dying, he was saved by Elves, whose existence was still legendary at that time.
But because of what happened to him, he was too weak to fight anymore, he couldn't even wield a sword. The leader of the Elves saw that Gaiseric felt guilty for his sins, so he (she?) told him about the Elves' origins and explained him that he could expiate by being "revived" by them into a Skull Knight to destroy Void, the monster he created.
Very curious indeed. I hadn't thought of this old theory in a while. There are obvious cyclical occurances in the Berserk Universe. I don't see why the merging of worlds could not have happened before, 1000 years ago, as it is happening now, around the exact time (event-wise) as that theory states. But now that we have those explanations about how the Holy See is responsible for the slow disappearance of legendary creatures, it's not _that_ far-fetched anymore...
Wow, expiate. I named a certain character 'Expio' in my Gaiseric fanfic... how hilarious. 8)The leader of the Elves saw that Gaiseric felt guilty for his sins, so he (she?) told him about the Elves' origins and explained him that he could expiate by being "revived" by them into a Skull Knight to destroy Void, the monster he created.
Ok, now I'm starting to worry about this theory... I really... REALLY hope Miura has a different explanation. Not because I think this is weak, just because I don't want to be totally spoiled if this is THE story.Couldn't that "leader" be Flora? Puck said there were witches as well, in Elfhelm...
'Just reviving an old thread. I'm not saying I believe this explanation...
Not in my opinion. ^^;It's an interesting theory, but i see one big problem with it: no Zodd.
His conversations with SK around the time of the Eclipse strongly imply that something happened between them 1000 years ago.
Couldn't that "leader" be Flora...?
But no one says that they are. The newest information (see Griffith's Universal Proportinss' speculation) just says that there are three worlds, not really a spectrum.how could it be? if the elves are like the "good idea",
Are you saying Godo is an elf? Im really confused...Also, digressing a little, seeing as the "dragonslayer" was created by Goddo, an elf,
Could be indeed. Personally though, I would never agree to be shagged by Skully. Hes all spiky.and Skull Knight also supposedly created by (an) elf(s)--it's logical to think that the same "elven" feeling would be felt by the feelers of those feelings ;D. But the Skull Knight's elven "aura" could have just derived from him hanging around elves for a thousand years...(and possibly shagging a few by and by)

The Elves are the materialization of feelings, just as the God of the Abyss is. They're just the "opposite" of the Idea of Evil. They were created by men and symbolize their hopes and positive thoughts.
That's what i'm saying. Instead of freely transversing two worlds, the physical and the "ideal" world are restricted from one another....there are three worlds, not really a spectrum.

Haven't you ever heard of the Superfluous French Tickler? hmmm...maybe Skull Knight's French!
The arthrite is explained as well ... ^^

Hmmmmmm…Olivier is not Miura !
It is obvious now : he is Skull Knight !!
Elves may be opposite to Idea, but that doesn’t mean they are equal forces in the Universe.According to this, elves are "Idea's" opposite, right? It explains why everything deriving from elves has a "bipolar" affect on everything to do with "Idea"...(ex. Goddo's cave, Flora's magic).

But i still don't quite comprehend why the skeletons at Gaiseric's castle had brands. Are not brands only for the "sacrificed"? If it was a war between humans and apostles (like Griffith's army has executed), then no one officially sacrificed them ne?
The most common belief is that they were sacrificed for Void's entrance into God Hand. He released them from the reign of the evil emporer, Gaiseric.werent those said to be Gaiseric's sacrifice in order to become a God Hand, or something else? those were his people i think, the ones that he cared for the most. coulda forgotten something though

Of cource, its all speculation.
