Adventures in YouTube
« on: March 26, 2006, 04:00:48 PM »
I'll give an introduction later. I don't feel like it now.

Follow my lead and post something to make me laugh.:badbone:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxkr4wS7XqY
I heard that right after he saw this, Jackie Chan swore to never make another good movie. He knew he could never match the power and prowess possessed by these incredible, completely heterosexual men.
Coincidently, he made Rush Hour soon after.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nda_OSWeyn8&search=leprechaun
And I completely believe EVERY WORD they say.
An' ev'r'one who agree, say YEAH!!
We often went to the cinema, the screen would light up and we would tremble, but also, increasingly often, Madeleine and I were disappointed. The images had dated, they jittered, and Marilyn Monroe had gotten terribly old. We were sad, this wasn't the film we had dreamed of, this wasn't the total film that we all carried around inside us, this film that we would have wanted to make, or, more secretly, no doubt, that we would have wanted to live.

hahaha,  all of those are great.

"Your stronger then you think.." ;)

I'll edit my post when I pull up some funny ones; I remember a couple, just have to find the links.

edit: hmm, can't seem to find the good ones :( well here is a kinda funny paintball video. If you've ever played Paintball you know it stings pretty bad when you get shot, so this must of hurt like hell.

Good stuff.  :guts:

Here is one I find ridiculous. You pay like 60 - 80 thousand dollars for a hummer, hummer 2, or the stupid new little one, and they SUCK very badly off road:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpxoomyFs_0&search=hummer

I started watching this and the very first clip just blew my mind!  :isidro:

The middle has an old Ford, old Chevy Blazer, and a bunch of Jeeps flying around and the damn Hummer, well, it just sucks. The last part shows if you just randomly have enough money and decide to buy a hummer, you definitley have more money than sense.

Ah, yes. Thanks to all for your comments and contributions.

I now must add, what has become my FAVORITE VIDEO EVER!
Some of you have probably all seen it before, but it's always worth re-watching several thousand times.
And to those of you who have NOT seen it, I like to call it "The Grapes of Wrath." :carcus:

Here is a topic I found on the SA forums:

Clicky Clicky

A guy does some reenactments of some movies, including Star Trek, Home Alone, and Willy Wonka.
I'm just a poor, wayfaring stranger.......just moving along to the next habitation of demons.....

The tables have turned, Paparazzi.  Read the caption below the movie first. And since no one will, I'll just repost it here:

"It doesn't normally happen that paparazzi photographers pay me any attention when I'm not working. In fact, it only ever happened once (thank god) that I can think of. Luckily I had my video camera on me when it did. A friend and I were just walking down the street in Manhattan when we passed these two photographers who were sitting outside the entrance of some hotel, presumably waiting to photograph somebody who was staying there. I didn't think much of them until, a block or so later, they came running up and started to take my picture. I tried to be nice and politely ask them not to. They were neither nice nor polite. And that's when I remembered I had my camera in my bag. So that's where the movie starts. The only other thing I'll say is (and I had trouble deciding whether or not to be so blunt with my opinion, but here goes) I do believe that the myth of "Celebrity" is not just innocently shallow entertainment, but a powerful and fundamental part of a larger movement revolving around greed, apathy and hierarchy that is currently dragging us down, down, down, lower and scarier, and perhaps weaker than we've ever, ever been. Smile!" - Joseph Gordon-Levitt

...hilarious find, walter.

This is getting quite good. Much better than I'd anticipated at such an early date.

Here's another:

Juggling Can Be Cool Too!

Note the ebaum's world brand (Berserk ref intended) at the bottom left hand corner of that movie.  I'd already seen that video, and it sure as hell wasn't from ebaum's. :schierke:

1st time I see this.  Cute.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49IDp76kjPw&feature=Favorites&page=1&t=t&f=b

yea I think it is an English ad for a satellite company or something.  Either way, the people who do the real simpsons (and by real I mean the cartoon) dropped it in last week's intro.  Its pretty cool
