I thought the final page of ep 278 provided plenty of closure to that whole escapade.Uriel said:I was kind of surprised not to see Guts and co get aboard the ship.. but we can safely assume they did. One more episode of them trying to get on a ship really isn't necessary.
At this point, I'm more looking forward to a bloody battle, rather than an easy victory. With all this build up and Ganishka's renewed determination, this could shape up to be an EARTH SHATTERING conflict.I am really looking forward to Griffiths army swooping through for the win
Aazealh said:His breaks are usually to work on the plot, but this time it's different. And Griffith isn't just a "replacement" for Gaiseric, you know.

Uriel said:The scar that was left on Ganishka's head is interesting. Could this be a way to ruin his physical form?
Uriel said:Also, the Kushan forces are bloody enormous!! They sure as heck didn't take their time. I am really looking forward to Griffiths army swooping through for the win

I'm pretty sure Owen's purpose isnt really for the battle but for more of a politcal ally for Griffith, himself and Rabon(sp?) were some of the very few nobles back in the day that fully supported him.ironlung said:We'll also get to find out if that Owen dude is really of any use in battle at all. We've only seen him talking about how sexy Griffith was back in the 100 year war and then before/after the ball, right?
Eternal Struggler said:Second, I do think Owen "purpose" here will be to help convince the people of Vritannis to ally with Griffith and the Neo Hawks when the time has come. Griffith must still be around since he was there when Guts was going on the ship...
I think Silat's opinion of Ganishka's reign is pretty well elaborated on in episodes 230-233. Rakshas exposed Ganishka's demonic side, added to the fact that Silat's working an uphill battle trying to reclaim his clan's dignity. Either one of these are good launch pads for rebellion in the future.Eternal Struggler said:Anyone thinks that maybe Silat will try to break free from Ganishka's "control" soon? Or do you think he's happy with his situation right now...?

CnC said:I don't think Griffith's going to need that. He's got the Pontiff on his side. If anything I hope Owen questions Griffith a bit after his strange conversation with Guts.
