Streets of Rage "Remake"

Some guys have been working on remaking Streets of Rage it contains graphics from the SOR 2/3 including gameplay mechanics, new enemies, new levels, redesign levels, remix music and there's co-op as well! Here's the final version which fixes the early build that was released awhile ago.

I'm playing the game myself and it's good no problems whatsoever. You can choose to either have the old graphics from the original SOR game or the current one which uses the SOR 2/3 games. You can custome the key control options as well. The new remix music is also pretty good I'm liking it, it's true to the SOR games.

Very cool, indeed. I've been playing a lot of strange homemade beat em' ups using the "Beats of Rage" engine on my Dreamcast. Check this site out, theres a ton of homemade crap, including a Castlevania beat em' up game. Check under the "completed mods" section.

Edit: Okay I tried it out and I am very impressed. I have never played a fanmade beat em' up that is this high quality. And I found it very exciting to listen to the spruced up music as Streets of Rage 2 is one of my favorite videogame soundtracks ever. ZoddGuts, I am forever in your debt. Now I can just hope for a Dreamcast version, boy would I be a happy camper!
