Discovered this band while looking for good AMVs for the anime film: Mind Game :guts:
Great movie, I'll check out the music too. :serpico:

I'm listening to
We Are Finally Cowboys from the No More Heroes ost.

Just found out that Nobuo Uematsu's coming to my school to talk Thursday, so I'll be listening to him. :guts:

But really, I'm actually listening to Between The Buried And Me, The Dear Hunter, and like everything At The Drive-In has ever put out. It's putting me in a good winter mood.

My mother's been torturing me with Cliff Richard's and Alabama's Christmas music lately so I put on DJ Hidden's The Later After. Nothing like evil, supercharged breakcore to get into the perfect Xmas mood!

Anyone else catch the palm pixie commercial and here this song? Well I found out what song it was and man is it catchy.

"War" is the best track on here, followed closely by "Quaritch". This is some of James Horner's best stuff. :guts:

Are you kidding? That's totally nuts! :O You should film it and upload it to the tube. :D

Susumu Hirasawa's Paprika soundtrack. I got into his music through the movies of Satoshi Kon and at that time I did not know about his work related to the Berserk anime.

Most of the tracks don't have very good recording, but what do you expect from a (dead) punk bootleg? =)

........

Also, their previous live album,

the recording is a lot better. Though it seems like half the album is a hate/hate relationship between the band and the crowd, it doesn't disappoint. Very entertaining and relevant even to this day imho.

If it's intense like Filteria or Juno Reactor I can dig it. Also; Is psytrance/psychedelic trance just another way of saying "goa trance"?

I've been digging into some of the most dreadful music I listened to on the radio in the 90's lately: Eurodance like 2 Unlimited, Scatman John, E-Type, Mr. President, Captain Jack, Scooter, Ace of Bace etc., just to confirm if it's as horrendous as it was back then. Most of the time it is!

Currently listening to a local Chicago-area band that's getting big called The Felix Culpa - their new cd Sever Your Roots has blown me away. Check it out if you're into hard indie or....*shudder* "post-hardcore". God, I hate the names for genres we've come up with.

Also going through Faunts' discography beyond the song featured in ME's credits. Pretty solid stuff.
