pretty much any of his albums are great. Nujabes was all about chill hip-hop like music. heres a nice example:

usually just instrumentals, but he features a bunch of great hip-hop artists as well:

he died this year, but im sure he has a bunch of tracks sitting in his closet. which im sure will make up his new album.
Cool, I'll check it out tonight.

I was listening to Adversarial's All Idols Fall Before the Hammer this morning on cassette, and it reminded me a lot of everything I like about old school DM, just pure dirty crushing evil no-filler DM.

Justin Bieber. No, not a joke. I'm listening to him, just, slowed down 800%.

And it's ... not bad.

Just don't go listen to the original. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STAY AWAY!

That's actually good.

I went back to one of my favorite videos from *sigh* her, and it's so so hypnotic, she moves like a Goddess and the song's infectious for me - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGkvXp0vdng&feature=av2e (I just wish Goo Goo Gaagaa wasn't in it)

It's not good either, it's pretty indistinct if not for the novelty of it, and it's basically already a meme, proving it's really just fun to say it's good ironically.

BTW, I hear if you slow down Twilight 800% it'll be the best day of your life.

Happened to watch the trailer for the new movie "Social Network" and the score was from a quire group called Scala and Kolacny Brothers. Apparently they tend to sing old music hits and such. For my own personal taste I enjoy it, so if you guys haven't seen the trailer I'll post the music from it below. Hope you guys enjoy

I picked up Disturbed's new album, Asylum, on Tuesday and after several listens, I think it's one of their best. If you're a fan of Disturbed, or hard rock in general, I suggest giving it a chance.

Oh yeah! I saw the trailer in a cinema. With the soundtrack it gives you immediately goose bumps!

I stumbled upon a band that is very cool. They make latin/soul/jazz influenced pop-rock. Very cool and just perfect.

I'm listening to Shostakovich. At the moment the 4th mvt of his Symphony no. 11 Opus 103 (more so the second half of it.)
Without any doubt, the most epic ending 2 minutes to any music you'll ever hear. :badbone:

Anamanaguchi. Best thing to come out of the Scott Pilgrim movie.

I have developed a love for chiptune music.

Speaking of Chiptune based/inspired music, I've gotten my OC Remix folder of music to about 1gb. There are so many good remixes there.

onderoath.jpg

As some of you may know, Underoath is one of my favorite bands, and on November 9th the new album comes out called Disambiguation. Unfortunately, the only original member remaining (drummer/ singer) has left and they actually got Norma Jeans drummer to replace him, which makes me nervous because I'm not a big fan of the drumming in Norma Jean, that was always my biggest complaint about them. Regardless I still can't wait, Underoath never lets me down.

ANd that's not the only album in November that looks promising,

The new MCR album is also out. Really interested in hearing this.

Actually it's kind of funny about these two bands, they both hit the scene around the same time and both are releasing their fourth album.

Not trying to drown this thread with my post-hardcore emo shit but this one wasn't on my radar for some reason, once I saw that it was out I bought it without hesitation and I'm glad I did!

chiodosilluminaudio.png

THis is Chiodos on their third album and the first with the new singer (who had some big shoes to fill because the old one, Craig Owens, had such an amazing voice and while I do miss him dearly, the new guy is totally fine and I can see him staying with Chiodos for a long while). The first Chiodos album, All’s Well That Ends Well, was one of those cd's that, in my youth, rarely left the car stereo and was most likely one the loudest ones my friends and I would blast during the summer. So i'm kinda loving the nostalgia right now and I'm sure my opinion is unfairly biased, but it seems really solid, and it's getting good reviews (almost too good actually, it's a little suspicious). I would describe it as more fun and edgy 30 Seconds to Mars, with breakdowns and lyrics about phantom of the opera and zombie apocalypse type shit.

Ahh, good times for this type music with my favorite bands (my top 3 actually) all releasing albums so close together.

Zelda Underworld - Nullification

The guy's style is very similar to Justice for quite a few of songs. :guts:

Edit
RTPN - Crossfire.
Its industrial metal. I first heard it while watching the best goddamn Sendo AMV anyone will ever make.

Yeah I love most RTPN songs.

Right now I'm listening to some Prototype Raptor again. Probably my favorite of his songs as it's not a dubstep.

Album leak from two of the metal-bigwigs lately.

Atheist - Jupiter. I was never a big fan of the technical school of death metal, but this wasn't too bad, especially considering the negative reception some of their fans have given it. Just as good as their classic albums from the early 90s methinks.

Agalloch - Marrow of the Spirit. This was more to my liking. It's probably heavier and darker than their previous works (only heard Mantle before), but it's almost ethereal when they switch over to the mellow acoustic/drone-sections and the spooky forest sounds. Feels almost like it's been recorded in Alaska.
