Nujabes Tribute:

A true pioneer.

MY top 5 most played songs in my iTunes are 4 tracks from Nujabes and 1 from fat jon. (how you feel)

I remember I teared up the day I heard he died. I can confidently say im the biggest fan of Nujabes in California.
It was really mean of them to keep his death a secret for as long as they did. I still have him added on MySpace (where I first discovered him, which then led me to samurai champloo which got me into anime = Berserk! :guts: ) , but Spam bots spam the crap out of his myspace comment section, it's so sad :(

here's a pretty good remix of Counting Stars:

and the track I hear over and over on my ipod:

Nah you aren't the only one :guts: if you like listening to HipHop with jazzy beats you should try Guru Jazzmatazz Volume 1 and 2. I would call it the HipHop album for jazzlovers and the Jazz album for the Hiphop lovers.

Personally I'm mostly listening to some old school HipHop, some techno and the rest is well random, i don't buy songs (those i buy is are the ones i like the most) that much but use legal and free music programs like Spotify.

Here is a taste of Jazzmatazz.

Guru - Lifesaver (feat Lucien) [JazzMatazz Vol.2 The New Reality] 1995

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQvzqOvoF-o

This is one doesn't have a jazz beat but still is a nice one, the beat is made by J Dilla (an awesome beatmaker).

The Pharacyde - Runnin, Album: Labcabincalifornia

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwHuEDCM7xs

And of course Jurassic 5 - Concrete Schoolyard, Album: Jurassic Five.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KeN9c2GYJkk&ob=av2el

You haven't listened to HipHop if you haven't listened to A Tribe Called Quest - Can I Kick It.

I'm actually enjoying this release more than Plastic Beach.

Man, so much good music coming out in early 2011, including new albums from Fleet Foxes, Bright Eyes, and Explosions in the Sky, with possible new albums from Queens of the Stone Age and Modest Mouse later in the year. It's going to be a good year for music. :guts:

Loving the new Skylit Drive album, one of the few bands that I literally followed from their earliest days, almost by accident and just stuck with them. I'm also seeing these guys at the end of the month with Underoath and Thursday, who are playing their album Full Collapse from start to finish. Can't fucking wait, just thinking about it gets me adrenalin pumping.

The new Lady Gaga single is pretty eh. Kind of generic and Madonna-ish, the chorus is pretty boring and a little too gay for me. I'll have to return my queer card :puck:

Lady Gaga sounding Madonna-ish? And too gay (well she needs the cater to the Madonna croud)? Colour me surprised. :troll:

Just came across this today. Highly recommended for fans of FFVII and/or hip-hop. I was skeptical at first (especially because it's been done before), but there are definitely some great tracks. Stand-outs include AVALANCHE, Mako Reactor, and definitely Cry of the Planet. You can preview all the tracks before buying.

Been listening to a lot of random songs ... that sorta kept me up all night >_>'

This's such a favorite of mine ...
