Lets start with the implications of it.
Starting with the top right, or 2'oclock... This appears to be the demon baby...but what role does it have in the grand scheme? We will look at it later, but keep it in mind as we scroll through the other insignias...
Next we go to the 4 o clock hand... And on to the 6'0 clock hand... Here we have the Hawks insignia...Now we're in more familiar ground. What could the Hawks have to do with all this?
On to the 8 o clock hand... Here we see a Skull... It represents Skull Knight. I'm not even going to say 'perhaps' on this. It just IS skull Knight. Which leads us to two theories 1)...What if all these insignias are things that represent the God hand? Or members, if you will..so far the demon baby was produced as a rebirth tool for Griffith/Femto ( speculation)... The hawks fit in as that they produced griffith, the skull would represent skull knights identity as Gaiserik in his old life...
2)...Perhaps these are all the results of sacrifices...The skull here would represent Skull Knight's sacrifice....The Hawks insignia is the hawks death, and the baby is....well hell i dont know how the baby falls into place here!
On to the final panel of this wheel...10 o clock hand... Finally....we have Void... The character we know even less than Skull Knight on...but im convinced Void is one of the more important character in the Berserk universe. Being the leader of God Hand, his inclusion here could represent many different things. 1) It again could represent Voids sacrifice... 2) Or it could just be Void representing God Hands intervention in some grand scheme we have no idea about just yet...There is always the looming mystery of God Hands ultimate plan to wipe out humanity... And finally...the centerpiece of this wheel... This...is where the real theory begins...This is the centerpiece, which means that all of these surrounding objects, the skull, the brain, the baby, the hawks, and the mystery element, ALL are related by this...The rebirth of Griffith...Or could it be merely Griffiths birth as Femto? I think not...No i think this is an event that has yet to take pplace....Never have all these elements come together as one, so perfectly as a potential rebirth of Griffith. 1) The baby represents griffiths new form 2) Idea remains Idea, the source of the God Hand's power, and their master.
3) The Hawks insignia could represent The path by which Griffith became Femto and perhaps his future as well?
4) Skull Knight's insignia could have to do with an event that has yet to take place...perhaps SKully will do something to either hinder or help Griffiths rebirth...
5) Void...Everything, all these theories lead back to Void...He is holding all the answers. Void here is God hand...Void is the master plan... Something sinister is going on in this image....and even beyond this wheel...we have this: 1) In the center...is the seal 2) On the top is a hand with an eye in it, perhaps meaning God Hand, or the power of God Hand, to affect fate... 3) On the bottom right we have a sword...The sword represents Guts character...He is sealed...perhaps thats all there is to it...
4) bottom left...a castle... Griffiths dream perhaps...? In conclusion... Clearly there is too little evidence to make a final conclusion to everything this picture represents...What IS certain of all this, and what makes this picture so signifigant, is that it shows us that everything in Berserk has a place...Everything is working to some order, some cause that we dont know yet... And that is one of the reasons i love Berserk...
From recent discoveries ( mostly thanks to Olivier ) This has been revealed as The Idea of Evil. However, how it fits into all this is still speculation, but im guessing it has to do with the events leading to Griffiths birth as Femto since Idea is God Hand's backbone. Idea ties directly into the fate of the world, and Femto.
