Definitely, you should listen to that whole album ó Kyusai no Gihou. It's my favorite of his solo works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_rK4eWKEvI

Well a year and a half later and I finally got around to getting the CD.

I like that the deluxe editions adopted the same title font as the newer Japanese prints.

Saw the video on Reddit earlier. Disappointed that itís going to be a longer wait for the game, but I respect and appreciate Nintendo for putting quality above just shoving crap games out onto store shelves. Glad to see Retro will be on the project now, too.

Finally got myself a PS4 (found a good deal for a used Slim 1T on eBay) and picked up Dragonís Dogma Dark Arisen at GameStop. Played just a bit last night, chose the ďliterally GutsĒ player character preset, and for my main pawn I went with my girl Farnese.

Spider-Verse was the best superhero movie I've seen since ... Spider-Man 2? Super solid, fun, and funny.

I saw it last night and enjoyed it a lot. Visuals were amazing, the way the colors popped and how dynamic the character animations were.

I had a problem with the movie which negatively impacted my enjoyment of it in a big way (which I understand is on me), namely how the background images often looked as though they were meant for a 3D showing of the film, even though I was seeing the 2D version. For example:

Continuously being put off by such images prevented me from fully immersing in the movie, which is a real shame.

Yeah, it was kinda weird but it looked like they were basing it the printing technique used in vintage comic books http://4cp.posthaven.com/?page=3

Picked up Super Smash Bros Ultimate this morning and working on unlocking all of the fighters. Friend code is SW-2538-3479-0495 for anyone down to Smash.

I wish I could deny myself the pessimism I have towards this but I can't help it.

Maybe it'll be a surprise, who knows.

I'm not really optimistic about it but at least Cowboy Bebop has a futuristic sci-fi setting, which works better in live action than a fantasy one IMO. There are hundreds of ways it could fall apart though and I don't think it can improve on the original in any way.

Hmmm... I very much dislike live action based on animation but I think Cowboy Bebop is grounded enough that it could work. Maybe.

I'm new to reading the episodes as they come out in Young Animal--is that a common thing, edits being made between magazine release and volume release? Or is this an inordinate amount?

I'm pretty sure that every volume has at least one change. Art touch ups and continuity fixes are pretty common.

Volume 38: Fixed continuity mistake with Griffith's gauntlet https://imgur.com/a/1UOBxJw

Volume 39: Made Guts' neck less thicc https://imgur.com/a/2oWzQ

Rarer changes that have occurred are things like modified dialogue, rearranged episode placement, new pages inserted, a removed page, and one episode removed entirely.

I want to know if he would just use the Dark Horse translations as the source for a script, inheriting their mistakes, or if heíd have one made sourcing the original Japanese.

Miura also edited a page in Episode 352, i didn't even notice that originally it was the wrong leg. (I also included the page he edited in Episode 354.) https://imgur.com/a/osMfVKs

I remember noticing that it was the wrong leg when that episode came out. But then forgot and never checked for the correction

My imported copy of Okami HD for Switch came in today (along with volume 40). I could have just downloaded it but I have a strong preference for physical games.

Spent my morning watching Castlevania season 2.

"Eat shit and die."
"Yes, fuck you."

BTW, back to the video, what's the big idea behind it? Like who is that guy? Is he some old Japanese action star or manly actor? Is this like if they'd cast Arnold in the part or something? Or is it just the guy is old and it's stupid and... that's the joke? :???:

It's funny that you mention that, because I look at this thing and just feel it's like one of our many April Fool's Day pranks. Elaborate, but It's Shigeru Matsuzaki, a famous singer. I guess the intent is : Berserk is old and so is he, haha.

He's called the Black Singer in Japan because of his dark tan, and the two images Bleac posted emphasize 黒 black. That's the joke, the Black Singer as the Black Swordsman.
