I find dodge and burn tools are ok if you have a really low opacity. Im using 10-20% for my pictures. But their not good for everything, only for certain effects.

I belive im looking for way's to add texture to my pictures. A more realistic touch, rather than just plain color with some shade. (that makes the image seem flat)

ack...everyone is better at coloring pics than me.......Must get better. I want to write, draw, and color my own comic someday. alot of work I know, but It should make an impact.
