Yes, and we have a thread about the lyrics for it here: http://www.skullknight.net/forum/index.php?topic=4088.msg93007#msg93007 Hirasawa often incorporates words and phrases that are from other cultures, such as the words in Thailandese in Sign.SuperVegetto said:Do you know about Sign?
Where? Did you forget to link them? Either way, the lyrics subtitled in that NicoNico video aren't Japanese. It's written in katakana, which is a Japanese alphabet used to convey words that aren't native to Japan. Even beyond that, it doesn't sound Japanese at all. If I had to guess, I'd say it was German, Russian, or some other East-European language. Here are the lyrics, dunno how accurate they are but they do sound so when I hear it. They kinda look japanese to me, maybe as you said, he uses surreal and obscure words even for Japanese?

SuperVegetto said:I really doubt it was German, Russian or some other East-European. It looks more Asian to me. I'm pretty sure it's not Russian ( unless there's some other version of Russian I don't know ) Same with German
Aazealh said:This is nothing new. It's Macop's interpretation (what Walter linked you to). He posted it on our forum almost 7 years ago (and that website likely took it from us).
It's neither Russian nor German, and probably isn't an Asian language either. If you check the link Julalien posted a week ago, it lists some tweets from Hirasawa where he basically says that the words are made-up.

A gentle wind blows
On the water floats the moon
I cannot grasp it, despite my will
Sway and shine
Picking up the pieces of hope
Only to lose them again
Then for what, for whom
Do I fight?
These wavering thoughts
Concealed inside this heart
What lies ahead
I do not know
Still, no matter
I will move forward
Don’t want to drown repeatedly in dreams
At this rate, life cannot go on
With these hands; the light of tomorrow
Raising my head, I ask
Will tomorrow bring the same sky?
Like a hawk, I’d fly high
If I had wings
With the flow of clouds
Soaring high in the air
No suffering, no pain
Does such a place exist?
Wishing to feel the light
But now in the darkness
My voice, no one can hear
Still, no matter
I will move forward
Don’t want to drown repeatedly in dreams
At this rate, life cannot go on
Something irreplaceable; for their sake
Now, a place without suffering
In pursuit, smoldering, into the flames
The seasons go round and round
From here, let us start a new journey
Now, this moment, hold your head high
Oh, warrior
Like a hawk, fly high
Over and over again, never giving up
Moving forward today, never looking back
I wish someday to be loved
That’s all
But for now I am on my own
Truly she does ( I actually prefer this girl over the original singer), and the ending song wasn't bad at all, but Aria is more genialGaiserik said:I like more the ending song of IA, that of Hirasawa. This Japanese girl sings very well in a karaoke.

This is presumably Aria's lyrics, the romaji posted on the voice only version I posted above
Aazealh said:Aria's lyrics aren't in Japanese, they're in a fictional language. Not the first time Hirasawa does it. Don't waste your time with these attempts to decipher it.
SuperVegetto said:maybe these are the original lyrics (in Hirasawanese presented in romaji) that Hirasawa wrote
