So for those interested they will be playing part II and part III at this year's Fantasia Festival in Montreal. I post that because I know some of you are in the area. Here's the link (with a terrible description of these terrible movies , that yes I will still go see cause I'll be on vacation for the fest and kinda want to see that on a big screen..)

here's the link for those who want the info :

movie II (there is an English version of the text if needed)

Thanks for the info! Since I saw the first one at that festival, guess I could assist to movies II and III. But deep inside, I'm not sure that I want to see them again...good thing I'm also on vacation soon, I would never miss work for that :ganishka:

Yeah I would not have missed work for that either considering I have seen them already. I'll probably be the first there again haha (oh by the way it's not at the same theater as last year, it's gonna be a L'Imperial this year, pm me if you need more info!)(way more cozy)

preview of the UK Blu-Ray release for Movie 2 unfortunately it looks like essentially zilch in terms of extra features

http://youtu.be/YZYCVIXZqLQ

and a new trailer for the UK release of the second film(at least I think its new I can't recall seeing it before)

http://youtu.be/wRVDTlreW3s

an un-boxing video of the North American blu-ray release for movie 2 and the shocking reveal of the existance of a band of the Hak beverage holder

http://youtu.be/o7C9Xxd_19k

Okay got my copy of the NA version of Movie 2 in the mail today just went through the special features they are as follows

-Interview with the Japanese voice actresses for Charlotte and Rickert a fun feature but in all honesty I guess a lot of fans will disagree with their views on the series and characters

-Live performance of Aria by Susumu Hirasawa personally I really enjoyed this

-Trailers for Movie 1 These include a trailer for the French dub of the first film and one for the Russian dub of the first film interesting to watch and personally I thought Zodd sounded really cool in Russian

-Production Art Gallery not much here but character sketches and what not but worth including I guess

- and a bunch of trailers for other Viz anime

I Just wacthed the first 2 Berserk Flims and thought they where good but the music didn't felt like it fit in with Berserk asmuch as the 90's one

also any word if there making anything after The Great Eclipse

I've been thinking about something. The current manga hiatus seems to have gone on forever, I haven't checked, but I don't think I ever remember there having been this long with no content. Anybody think maybe Miura is taking a break from the manga to help the studio work on the next arc? As much as it sucks waiting for new manga chapters, it would be nice if the next anime arc was a bit more true to the source material.

I am definitely going on a very wobbly limb here and trying to connect some dots that may need not connecting, but perhaps after the obvious travesty that was dubbed the Golden Age Arc Trilogy, Studio 4°C has decided to allow Mr. Miura some direct godfathering of any continuing story-boarding, animation, and direction, that the supposed "Berserk Saga" will take henceforce? The aforementioned dots being connected being the conclusion of Movie III of the Trilogy followed almost immediately by a, what I and surely some others refer to, a record-breaking worrisome-long break? Perhaps worrisome is the wrong word, but uhh... perplexing, maybe?

Haha I didn't see that. I'm guessing that was posted somewhere other than the anime section? Anyway, has there been any word on the matter for sure one way or another?

Click on the link at the top of the quote, the thread in which it was posted answers the first part of your post. And no, no word on the matter so far.

I thought I had seen an announcement that all three would be bundled together in some kind of box set, but now that I'm looking for it, it doesn't seem to have happened unless they plan on doing this farther down the road.
