"After an in-flight airing of Elvis Presley's greatest hits on Air Force One and an offering of "the king's" favored grilled fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches, President Bush took Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi on a tour of Graceland, home of Koizumi's undisputed musical hero. "You're a pretty good Elvis singer," Bush prompted Koizumi, who quickly sang out, "Love me tender."

I dunno, I think it's pretty cool he can just cut loose like this, and be so candid with the rest of the world about his personal interests. I thought it took guts for a prime minister to do something like this, especially one from such a reserved culture like Japan.

I'll have to ask my foreman if he worked there during that. He's done the temporary service for Elvis Week the past couple of years.
