It's funny now that I think of it.. As I understand Miura shows us two sides of the same face.
The first half is human, the second is the one of apostles.
Both gullible, ugly, driven by temptation and lust but at the same time we can sense or see in them moments of sincere joy, love and friendship.
And one is dependent of the other, just like life is dependent of death.
The thing I really like is the ambiguity of the Berserk universe. Humans can be monsters too.
