BERSERK Episode 385 will be published in Young Animal #13, slated to be released on Friday, June 26 in Japan.
Following that, episode 386 will release on July 10.

This episode is part of the new serialization of Berserk that is being done without Kentarou Miura. According to his close friend Kouji Mori, It's based on what Miura had told him of the story over the years. Mori supervises the effort while Miura's former assistants draw it under the banner of Studio Gaga.

Berserk Continuation Episode Summaries:

365: Griffith's presence is felt across the island. Casca runs toward Griffith but begins bleeding and triggering (random) memories.
366: Guts swings at Griffith but cannot land a hit. Schierke detects a maelstrom of power around Griffith. Zodd lands on the island.
367: Danan senses something dark rising from beneath the island. Griffith grabs Casca. The cherry tree loses its blossoms, and the island begins to break apart.
368: Gnawers emerge from the cracks, devouring the island. Roderick prepares the ship to depart. Guts despairs at the loss of Casca.
369: The island begins to sink. The elves vanish (except for Puck and Ivalera).
370: On the Sea Horse, Molda rallies Farnese to help heal the injured. Roderick is worried about Guts. In the ship's hold, Guts despairs his failure.
371: Schierke peeks in Guts' mind but is repelled by the Beast's jaws. Griffith arrives in Falconia with Casca.
372: Casca explores Falconia in a subdued state. Fleeting memories of her past provoke a failed escape attempt. Griffith sends his forces east.
373: Skellig's magicians have lost their powers. Schierke needs everyone for a spell to try to locate Casca. During this, Kushans attack. The Beast taunts Guts.
374: Kushans, led by Silat, take over the Seahorse and bloodlessly capture everyone. They approach Guts with caution. Rickert is with the Kushans.
375: Silat captured the Sea Horse following a prophecy from Daiba. The passengers and crew are taken captive toward the Kushan capital.
376: Guts is locked in a cell. The powerless magic users are given over to Daiba. Silat announces a campaign against Falconia.
377: Silat attends a council with all the Kushan leaders and asks for control of their combined military. Rakshas bursts out from one of the participants.
378: Rakshas sends a shockwave that causes monsters to appear all over the city. Silat lunges at him to engage in battle.
379: Silat telepathically reassures the Kushan people. The monsters are dealt with. Rakshas flees and winds up in front of Guts.
380: Magic users dispel the remaining trolls. Rakshas is killed by Silat, who then throttles Guts in anger that he didn't try to defend himself.
381: Using the Brand as a pretext, Daiba takes charge of Guts and marches him out of the city in a hypnotized state.
382: Guts is marched to and entombed in a mausoleum called a Stupa.
383: Inside the Stupa is a giant king lotus leaf on which Guts falls down. As he hallucinates about Griffith and Casca, it clams up and sinks in the water.
384: Guts mopes but Flora appears to reveal he was born into the Interstice, making him the same as Griffith.

Berserk's episodes run in these magazines months or years before they are collected into a volume. Q: What do I need to set up an account on Hakusensha-E?

For what it's worth, the payment system for hakusensha-e seems to have improved in the last year or so. Because now I can buy e-coins with a US bank credit card, whereas before I had to go through all sorts of hoops to purchase them.

This is completely off-topic but I'm pretty sure the improvement was on the US bank side! There are global security standards for payment systems (one called "3-D Secure" in this case) that for some reason US banks have been really slow to adopt, even though both Visa and Mastercard are American companies. In any case it's great that it finally works! :guts:
 
My first impressions.
This episode could've been two pages. It's one of their most pedantic episodes yet, with repetitive panels that just show Tsug from every possible angle. And I get why they did that: he's back, and now has superpowers. This may or may not have to be taken literally, but the execution feels like a parody of some sort. Tsug focuses really hard to open one of the doors, which falls down, scaring all the Kushans, and then he breaks the handcuff just by clenching his fist. Yes, they made him keep that thing just to do this, and Isidro actually cries tears of joy while this happens. Oh, I almost forgot: Flora is just gone. Talk about a deus ex machina.
The art is very inconsistent, as Tsug looks different from panel to panel. But his broken anatomy really takes the cake here: enormous arms, even bigger thighs... But alas, still no ass. There's one page where his proportions look like they came from Absolute Batman, and not in a good way. And these new deformed muscles of his look intentional to me, as that'd be the easiest and lamest way to show this powerup. Will the armor still be useful to him now? I don't know, but this MAY tie with the BoD telling Tsug he needs "power" some episodes ago. I can't say much of anything else as I don't know who's saying what, but reading it felt like a chore.

What do you mean? Guts could always fly. I mean, just because he never did or shown any signs he could or there being any hints in the story doesn't mean he can't. Have you seen his ears? Obviously pointy ears mean he can fly. It's first grade, Spongebob...I mean, @Kaine.

Oh, if that's the case I reckon they used AI to erase the text and Silat's eye looks enough like a speech bubble that it erased it too lol

Some things are erased by AI, some manually. For example, you can see they tried to erase the hatching on the handcuff in one of the pages. Don't really get why though.
 
I just saw there's also a color page, which is just two panels from the previous episode glued together: the one with Flora holding Tsug close to her, and the face of Tsug screaming. But hey, at least they added his hand! Needless to say it's one of their laziest artworks so far.

This chapter was disgusting, and it’s baffling how they can claim with a straight face that this horrid shit is Miura’s ideas. It’s now beyond doubt that Mori is a liar and has little to no respect for his late friend. Very pathetic that Mori and co had to resort to this instead of being honest and saying we ran out of ideas we apologize mena-san. No one will force you to commit seppuku just stop.

In all seriousness, they seem to have taken Schierke's line in Enoch about how those in the interstice can affect physical matter, and dialed it to 11—hence the door shove. But they didn't address how Guts got out of his funk. He just wakes up and is like (literally) "let's a go." They also don't (and won't?) address how now that he laid down in the stupa and learned about his babyhood, he should be able to punch Griffith, even though he's always been in the interstice, up to and including when he last fought Griffith (when he was already of the interstice due to the brand, without needing to be a special boy). What am I missing, folks? What happened?
