Finished the demo last night, and yep, loved it!
Though it was already apparent in the trailers, the character sprites and animations are
gorgeous. The game looks like a million bucks. It certainly plays like CrossCode (which by itself is a positive), but every gameplay aspect has been finely tuned. Movement is good, and the combat feels so punchy and fluid! And, while we didn't get to see it in action much, the build system they have in place where you can attribute different elements to multiple weapon loadouts seems great! You were kind of limited in CrossCode in that regard, builds amounted to the modifiers in your gear, which felt really undercooked. They seem to be fleshing it out quite a bit here, which I applaud.
The story seems interesting, and the characters are already quite likeable! Cabbage is so cute...
I also didn't expect the demo to be so long at ~2 hours of playtime, in part because of all the "fake ending" bait! I must have said "Aw, it's over? Wait, there's MORE" 3 times or so. Which reminds me, I was feeling a bit let down by the lack of puzzles for most of the demo, but I was really pleased the finale of the demo was a good ol' dungeon with puzzles! Juno is more effective with those Chakram than Silat himself

That said, I hope to see more environmental parkour puzzles in the full game.
I don't usually like playing games in early access, I'm the type of person who waits for the full release, but in this case, I'm really tempted to give it ago as soon as more content is available. Need more of this game!
