Bandai Namco is releasing a new Gashapon series based on Berserk starting today, April 3rd.
It's composed of five little figurines from the Golden Age depicting Guts, Casca, Griffith, Zodd and the Crimson Beherit. The novelty seems to be that they're sitting and waiting. The figurines are in PVC and vary from 4 cm to 4.5 cm tall. They're pretty detailed for the size, I'm surprised at the quality. Will likely be selling well.
The cost is 500 yen a pop. One has to register online and then buy a bunch (which one you get is arbitrary) to get the full collection. Right now the website seems to be overloaded from an influx of visitors. I imagine resellers will go crazy over these and full sets will be commonplace on the secondary market once the figurines ship (in late July 2026).
