New Guts & Casca Berserk Bookends by Dark Horse

They look okay. I'm never very satisfied with the likenesses of these sorts of things. I think Guts' expression is a bit odd. I've certainly seen worse. The detail on the armor and the clothing is quite nice.

It seems to me that it's trying to evoke the scene from 359, with he and Casca being on either side of the tree, unable to be close to each other. But because they're in their Golden Age outfits it's... well, a weird choice.

It might be some thing i would wanna add ( Bookends ) but not this type of thing to be honest.
I might just buy Beast of darkness or just the dragon slayer bookends.

( It's quiet sad they can't talk to each other again )

It's refreshing to see a "statue" of Guts in his travel armor. Making dedicated bookends for a specific arc is a neat idea considering how wide the whole Berserk series gets on shelves, but I don't think the execution does the characters justice. Sadly another miss from Dark Horse, especially at the price tag of 249,99$ (Limited Edition of course:carcus:)
