Hello friends! It's that time of year again, the 12th annual Secret Schnoz! And you know what that means: PRESENTS! :schnoz:
@IncantatioN and I decided to host a Secret Santa event here on the board. For those of you who aren't familiar, here's a summary of how Secret Santas work.

If you're interested in entering, please read the rules below, and then PM me and Incantation with the following information:

1. The physical address* and/or email address you'd like to have your gift delivered to (this info will only be seen by me, Incantation and your Secret Schnoz). You can also feel free to provide a Steam ID or other info if you'd like to only receive a digital gift.
2. A list of at least 3 gift preferences. Don't leave your Secret Schnoz in the dark! :griffnotevil: Just don't ask for anything like a new laptop, ya goof.

SCHEDULE

Today thru November 15:
Collecting entries - PM Grail and Incantation to enter!
November 16: Incantation and I divide up the entries and randomly assign Schnozzes using a randomizing program (or a bunch of names in a hat...).
November 17 & 18: We send out the information to the Schnozzes so that they can buy/make gifts!
November 19 thru December 25: The gifts come rolling in! Don't forget to post pictures!!

RULES

1. 50 Post Participation Minimum
This is a tough one, but we want to ensure a certain level of trustworthiness among the participants. If you don't quite have 50 posts yet, try to rack up your post count in time for the deadline!
2. $15 Price Minimum Feel free to get a single or multiple gifts that add up to $15! Keep in mind that this minimum doesn't include shipping costs. If you choose to participate, do so knowing that SK.net is an international community and you may or may not end up sending gifts to someone in a different country IF you choose to send a physical gift.
3. Handmade Gifts In the interest of fairness, we've decided that handmade gifts will be worth the amount spent on the materials. For example, if you want to create a Beherit out of clay for someone, you can subtract the price of the clay and paint from the $15 total. If you're into 2d art, I would recommend painting a picture and then putting it in a nice store bought frame! Sorry that it's so complicated, but we don't want to leave it open for any bad apples that might ruin the fun for everyone.

Due to postage issues during the holidays, we encourage you to send physical gifts out sooner rather than later. If you're giving a gift to a recipient outside of your country, consider sending out your physical gift extra extra early, or consider sending a digital gift!

I got my gift in the mail today from Grail: Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water! It came with a lovely card with an image featuring my wife's favorite style of vintage postcard. Thank you, Grail!
I'm glad to hear that your package arrived safely! I'm glad you liked the card, too! :guts: I can't resist a vintage postcard.

Regarding gifts, I also received a little wrapped item in the mail a few days ago, which is currently under our little placeholder Christmas tree (Placeholder because two cats and a crawling infant make trees covered in ornaments something of an impossibility :ganishka:). Thank you, @TheItCrow , I'll be opening it on Christmas day! :carcus:

How did you know it was me? :magni:
The package note did say that my Schnoz was from Germany... :griffnotevil:
I've sent out a second batch, so stay tuned :slan:. But I believe it won't reach you before Xmas (shipping from GER to USA is quiet something). :judo:
Oh wow, thanks! I'll be sure to look out for it! Yeah, shipping internationally is a beast, isn't it?
Just ordered my gift. Should arrive on Christmas Day. :guts:
Thanks for the update! :ubik:

Well guys, it's safe to say that I was spoiled by @TheItCrow this year! :schnoz:

First, I received a much-appreciated VIZBIG Vagabond volume to continue to furnish my collection! I got to open that on Christmas day, which was a treat! And just this morning, I received a very generous cornucopia of vegan treats all the way from Germany - complete with Crow's hand-made labels to make sure I knew what everything was! Such a thoughtful gift, you truly went above and beyond! Thank you so much! :ubik:

This year, my Secret Schnoz was the lovely, incredible, generous, and all-around great guy, @IncantatioN !!!

Thank you so much for these kick-ass records. Grail and I LOVED The Fountain and the music was tremendous. And I am positively obsessed with Twin Peaks. The third season has a very special place in my heart. I love all the artists showcased in the "Roadhouse" segments. Plus, this has got 2 iconic Angelo Badalamenti / Julee Cruise tracks.

These are fantastic records with great packaging. I'm looking forward to listening to them very much.

Cheers, Merry Christmas, and best of luck to you and your family!

Oh man - you're too kind and generous, @Gobolatula! And, I'm sooooo happy to share both albums with you! I'm sorry they didn't get to you until after Christmas.

I went back and forth on which album(s) to share, and I thoroughly enjoy these two soundtracks. I've rewatched The Fountain a few times to hear the soundtrack alone. The Twin Peaks soundtrack is simply iconic - I love playing it when we have Mahjong club.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you aaaaand the fam ^_^
