I found it a bit funny that I listened to the podcast not long after finally watching The Act of Killing, as it's a good example of people rationalizing their atrocious actions.
Enjoyed the podcast. Thanks y'all! I'm taking a Spanish class and we just recently learned the verb mostrar, which means to show. So there was a light bulb moment for me when you were talking about the origins of the word monster! It definitely helped cement the meaning in my mind!
