Why is the egg apostle branded?

.....blah blah.....
Have any of you noticed that that Egg (The one the gave birth to the new Griffith) is branded on the tongue? Any speculation as to what happened?

The can opener went bye-bye...
The "egg"(henceforth referred to as a behelit) apostle sacrificed his world. An impossibility. What was sacrificed what it's "interface with the world" or its own body. The Godhand didn't need to collect at the time. It would have made the sacrifice equal to suicide. The sacrifice ended up being its life, the tower, and the surrounding area.

The behelit's wish was to give birth to a new world. Thus Griffith’s new human form.

edit: spellchecked, better?

Jebus, go take some English lessons.

To make things simple, that damn egg was part of the sacrifice.
