FF9 was the beginning, then X and XI, they are really going to slaughter the milk-cow.

I like WCIII too and actually there are some more games that are really great and challenging too that i like...
i guess the point about FinalFantasy is not really the challenge or the type of game it is, but the story and characters u can slip into!
btw it offers a quite perfect mixture of magic,traditional/future weapons, modern styles, comedy and adventure!
i don t know i just like to play those games even i know that they might not be the best games outthere!
however what does ut2k3 mean!?o_O;

I love YaBB 1 Gold!
I might be in the minority, but I don't see the appeal of this game at all.

Did anyone actualy like Yuna? I found her to be a fairly annoying character. Most of the characters actually seemed to be somewhat annoying, but had something which made them memorable in their own way. The only characters I truely couldn't stand were Tidus, Yuna, and Kimari.

Now they make a standalone game about her, but they make her half naked.

I suppose it's not so much the fact that it's a game about Yuna that really bugs me, but the fact that out of all the Final Fantasy games so far, X is the only one to get a sequel.

X was hardly a terrible game, especially considering the previous two games in the series, but I personally didn't think it had any characteristics that made it that special. I certainly have trouble seeing anyone getting attached enough to the characters (besides Auron of course) for anyone to want a sequel.

I admit though, I do tend to shit on everything.

Uhm, RPGs aren't supposed to be competitive games.

I think all he means is that the genre should adapt somewhat...

What do you want to know?

Release Date Japan?
Release Date US?

where's the story picking up, what is the plot basically about?
was FFX originally planned as a story consisting of 2 Parts?

-TS

Why are the Squaregames becoming more and more crappy?

Olivier didn't ask you, Drachenfels.

I'm not sure a US release has been confirmed yet?
(but I have no doubt it will be)
where's the story picking up
Two years after "Final Fantasy X".
what is the plot basically about?
Basically, it starts with Yuna going on a new journey to find out the truth about a mysterious Sphere that could be linked to Tidus.
But it's just a pretext, that's not where the true story lies.
was FFX originally planned as a story consisting of 2 Parts?
I'm pretty sure it wasn't.

do you know that ist wasn't, or it just your personal assumption? if it is, what is it based upon?
The guy who wrote the "Another Story Eien no Nagisetsu" short movie, which appears to be the basis of the "Final Fantasy X-2" plot, commented in an interview about how difficult it was to write a follow-up.
