Buy Nothing Day

Well I am unfortanate enough to work in retail on this day.  Just curious to see how many people are out there who plan to implement this no-shopping day.

i never heard of Buy Nothing Day.well i was going to get a book whensday,but the store was closed.anyway i never buy nothing for thanksgiving, we buy the food two-days-before- thanksgiving

I saw a flyer for it at UCSC, but I didn't know such stupidity spread beyond the walls of Santa Cruz. Don't worry, people like this can't organize their socks, let alone organize a stop to consumerism.
