I'm not sure I understand the question. But, the Count's story is resolved by the end of volume 3. There's even time to begin a new arc before volume 4.

In Italy they have different editions, and one has splitted volumes. But he lives in the USA, and Walter's reply is all he needs. The Count is asked to sacrifice Theresia in volume 3.

Volume 3. Now as I suspect your question to be wrongly formulated, the volume where the story chronologically catches up to the Black Swordsman arc, after the Golden Age arc ends, and picks up the story where it was left is 14. It's the beginning of the Retribution arc. Note that this is indicated all over the site already.
