Berserk Screenplay

I'd love to, but this company is looking for already established screenwriters. As much as Id like to be THE ONE, I haven't written anything but short stories and other prose-esque things. Ive done nothing professionally, and I really doubt anyone else in our league (that is, Berserk fans) has either. Unfortunately, I think theyll hire the first quasi-established Sci-fi/fantasy screen writer they find.

Other opinions?

Also, what about Miura? You'd think he'd want creative control over a project that could potentially totally change how his creation is percieved, if only by American audiences. I honestly would much rather have HIM have creative control over a motion picture, even if its not in his direct forte'.

Yep I totally agree with you walter there muira should be the boss on all decisions but instead of writing all the scripts shall we suggest what has to be in there such as skullknight and puck because i know sorry to say this that the mainstream american audiences will not want alot indepth story just gatts going all out

I bet Miura already knows about this or the company's gonna get sued when the project starts I bet. Maybe Miura is the one that decided to do this...

I saw that a few days ago and have a bad feeling that either (1) they'll accept a screenplay from some hack with little experience with Berserk or (2) it'll start out good but will be twisted beyond belief into a painfully cheesy movie. I don't think any manga/anime-to-live action projects have worked out very well.

But, like it was said before, if Miura himself can have any kind of creative control at all, it'll have a much better chance of success. We can only hope. ;)

But no matter what, I'll end up watching it. ;D

Motion Pictures made by american companies are... typically (always) live-action.

when i typed the nagson coperation's name into google i didn't find it's site, i wonder why.
