Th3Branded0ne
I'll be back.
I had like an hour before going to exercise so I thought to kill time by doing this. I know it's not the best and the time was not alot to make a good pic. Any commentsarewelcome.

Th3Branded0ne said:I just got this beginners carving kit, so I gave it a try at this piece of berserk. It's not quite finished yet, I need to cut it out from the remaining wood, sand it, and give it a paint job.
I tried to give it a wear and tear feel to it, that is why I left those marks and the symmetry off. I could have made it all symmetrical, but I felt since I took it from the pic where Griffith is imagining he is with Casca and with a kid. Then Casca looks at the shield and sword reminiscing about the past. So to me, the shield kinda looked worn out, that is why I didn't do it how you pointed out. But thanks anyways.vlad said:Wow, the sander really made a difference, there are still some lines betwen the feathers (perhaps a "bigger", or whatever the term may be, sander could take care of these) and minor symmetry issues. Given that this is your first try in this all I can say is SWEET, keep it up.
