The original is really cool and this looks mindblowing. If only Nintendo would give it the Zero Mission treatment... But I'll settle for a GBA rom of this one.

A saw this a couple a days ago on gametrailers, but saw no download link and filed it under too good to really happen and lost interest. Metroid II was like my first Game Boy game other than Tetris.

Looking sweet.

I never got all the way through Metroid II, but I think a remake is definitely in order after the success of Zero Mission, which I thought was even superior to Super Metroid ( BLASPHEMY! )

Looks fantastic! I've been waiting for a new 2D Metroid game for a long time. Thanks for the link Aaz, here's hoping a new 2D Metroid game gets announced for the DS.
