Apparently the first three were not severed.. They were decomposed.

Yea, it does seem like theres something afoot.

The fact that the feet were decomposed and not "severed" according to some of the police statements, would indicate that the owner(s) most likely died from something like an air plane crash or a shark attack. However it's very strange that only the feet came back to shore.
