Casca doesn't remember IT?

I'm not sure it's so much the Beast "forcing" him to kill her. The Beast seems more like a personification of something Guts wants to do, but can't bring himself to. Insane Casca is a burden on him and a constant reminder of Griffith. She's made his life more difficult, since now he has to protect someone so helpless as well as himself. So somewhere deep down, part of him just wants to kill Casca and go on toward Griffith and revenge. This doesn't mean he'll ever do it or even wants to all that much. I guess it's kind of like Guts' dark side, which is what the Beast probably represents.
