New TCG based avatars (picture heavy)
« on: May 18, 2005, 09:25:09 PM »
Hey there guys.

I've been collecting the Berserk card game for a while now, scanning the cards from time to time. Several people made avatars with them in the past and Berserk Chronicles even has some of my huge scans in their poster section, but I never really did anything with it myself, until now.

You guys now have 152 new avatars available in your profiles (all of them from the TCG or almost, excepted maybe 5 in total), and I'll also list them here, just for the sake of having a really messy thread: 8)

You may have seen some of these already, but now they can be conveniently accessed directly from the avatars' gallery. Some are a bit big so it's just testing for now, I might resize or retouch some of them later. I may also add more in the future, not sure I'll announce it if I do.

The old avatars can be found in /avatars/old/, they kept the same names. They're easily accessible from the Profile Information menu, and you can find a list at: http://www.skullknight.net/avatars/oldavatars.html.

Thank you, sir! The artwork on those is really amazing; if only I could afford more than twenty packs of cards.

Holy crap! These are amazing! I wouldn't even know which one to pick from if I were to change my avatar. I'd probably pick the Guts and Serpico one.

Thank you!

Thank you to the heavens Aazealh.

I really apreciate how much scaning you must have had to do.

Awesome!  Thanks, man, I loved seeing those.  The cards have so much great art on them, but I have so much crap in my apartment I just can't bring myself to buy any.

The "real" paintings are by Miura, and all the other stuff is done by Konami.

I'm curious to know what this card does. Or if it wasn't a card, where it came from.

Or if it wasn't a card, where it came from.

Miura drew it as you can see, it was on a promotional phone card (in an old YA).

Thanks much for making these available!

I was wondering where everyone was getting the awesome avatars from, if someone hadn't autochanged mine to BE one of the new one's I never would have had the mind to look.

Thanks again!

A real pity there isn't a Gaiseric substitute for my original Avatar, but I think I could get used to this one.

Thanks Aaz.... though if a Gaiseric one comes along....
