what a mistake that would be.
We often went to the cinema, the screen would light up and we would tremble, but also, increasingly often, Madeleine and I were disappointed. The images had dated, they jittered, and Marilyn Monroe had gotten terribly old. We were sad, this wasn't the film we had dreamed of, this wasn't the total film that we all carried around inside us, this film that we would have wanted to make, or, more secretly, no doubt, that we would have wanted to live.

hehe.  I've heard mixed reviews.  The trailer looked good, so I'll probably rent it.

That was really enjoyable to watch, although I can't believe such a cool guy made Jay and silent Bob strike back.

Bas Rutten again. Its a pretty funny video but a lot of the stuff is really effective in the fight, that is if you can pull it off.

Wierd guy.  I'm guessing one of those UFC guys?

I'm no expert but completely ignore most of what he said about the knife and ALL of what he said about the gun.  The rest is pretty much legit jujutsu

He is. He just came out of retirement several weeks ago, winning his fight by TKO.

well, I guess what he's doing to defend in those situations isn't bad at all.  Its those situations that seem off to me.

Like I said, I'm no expert.  I recieved brief training (about 5 years) from a Turkish ex-"Diginitary Protection Division" man up until recently.  In regards to knife fighting he would usually say 95% of the time you're never going to see the knife until you get cut.  You'd have to be one of the luckiest bastards in the world to receive a "from the top" strike like what was demonstrated in the video in the first scenario.  And the second scenario would more likely be a choke from behind while you're being stabbed numerous times in the back, rather than the other way around.
But this is what he said, I've never personally been attacked by a knife (which is probably obvious my still being here  :guts:).

Oh, another note he said that I was reminded of when I was watchin' the vid was Bas favored kickin' a dude in the balls.  My teacher would recount stories of people attacking him being so drugged out of their minds that kicking them in the groin was pointless.  But I suppose it would work in a bar  :guts:

Anyhoo, to get this back on topic:

I thought this was pretty damn funny. (Colbert interviewing a congresswoman)

Haha wow, both of this are hilarious CnC, especially the Vader one. I'd almost feel sad for the two idiots jumping from their roof, but really you have to be completely stupid to do it in the first place.

Here's one that's not even well done but cracks me up everytime nevertheless.
