Why did they make Femto crimson in the anime? I believe it specifically says in the manga that he would be given raven black wings. And on the vocer of volume 12 he is shown purple.
Because they sucked? He's supposed to be dark blue/violet. They probably messed up, just like they did when they had that bartender say Griffith had become king. So I doubt there's any actual reason.
