The way you should ask him depend on the relation you have with him.. are you close to him or you only think he's your brother and nothing more ? Me and my brother are friends for exemple..
Homosexuality is not a disease or something like red head that is transmited with genes and it's not every generation that have it (for the red head part i'm not sure but the disease i am)
