Tissues, normal paper, pencils, big eraser and a creative mind.

Wow, that is some kick ass art......I'm guessing that you do Hong Kong comics as profession, am I corrected? Why don't u post your artwork in www.cgtalk.com.

lol, no i dont do professional art. I dont want to post my art on that site either because mine is just......crap compared to theirs.

great art zodd and a wonderful understanding of anatomy, light and shadow. Very moody too but i would try to improve on facial expressions, moving away from these typical hokuto no ken faces.

Do you have drawings with a bit more backround stuff like houses forest and stuff like that?

Also, Psymont, I did the normal coloring with the multiply tool but the filters I got were custom made ones you can find on the net. The that makes Grunbelds crystal's really glow is a glare filter I used. It was the effect I was going for and it came out beutifuly! ;D

im guessing by your avatar zodd that you read blade of the immortal. you do any of that style drawing? Hiroaki samura does some of the best pencil work IMO. it also seems that you've started a little series of your own. i dont know if you have a story or anything but if you do im sure we'd all like to read it.

No actually my avatar is based on the manga "L'Immortale" not Blade of the Immortal, but I did color a little pic of it a while ago. What a coincidence that you asked.

samething....immortal guy named manji that kills people with really cool blades. great stuff. blade of the immortal is the name of the english paperback translations. your avatar is the pic used as the cover for the "Beasts" volume.

Asides from wanting to know how the hell you manage to draw and colour so well I'd be interested to hear how you come up with your characters, and choice of poses and scenes.


Um, does trying to colour Berserk manga count as artwork?
I had a go at colouring a picture of the Beast from one of the recent chapters if anyone's interested.

Is this REALLY your stuff? i'd like to see some WIPs, at the very least.

Sorry if i'm sounding like a horse's ass, but some forums have had a streak of talentless hacks out to build themselves the reputation of amazing artists on the net. it doesn't make the newspapers, but us (yes i draw too) artists haven't been taking this very well.
