its a classic scandinavian black metal band. does anyone know if it has anything to do with berserk?

Probably not, a behelit is just that, a charm of some kind that used often by pagans and dipshits of all sorts... The band u refer to has no relevance to Berserk... Thats all ;)

I think "Beherit" means "devil" and "Behelit" means nothing (or probably the japs are trying to say "beherit" but they are always changing "l"s into "r"s and vice-versa) :p

And i've heard of that band a long time ago...

And Urashima, where did you see a behelit used as a new age charm? I've never heard of or seen that one.

It's more like the L and R sounds are combined. It's romanized as "R," but it can sound a little like an L.
