The last thought of Griffith before the hell rises

In the 3rd OAV, just when Griffith found the Beherit, Guts is running to him. Then, Griffith said: " If you touch me at this moment, I will never forgive you ".

Does he says this in the manga? Is it the correct translation?

Why does he meant? Was he afraid that touching him will cancel the Beherit "activation"?

I like how your question shows the main reason why the movies are not good: they do not show enough or properly the history for a good understanding.

To (half) answer your last question: no one knew, by that time, about the Beherit and its use. But that's not actually (like in the manga) what Griffith says.

Yup, thanks to Obscure, I read the older topic. Now I understand it better. I really have to read the manga!!!!
