Can anyone out there help out with these awesome MGS pictures?

I scanned these two pictures from my Metal Gear Solid books, and I was wondering if there was anyone with the skill to fix them up a little bit. Like make them look more smooth.

Wow, Ive never seen these pics before. Snake looks kinda cracked out and Fortune's boobs are outta control. I just saved em and'll try and do something with them when I have free time tom.

Those aren't boobs. Those are warheads.

But anyways, I think the texture you're referring to is canvas. I can throw 'em into photoshop and see what sticks but I think theres only so much that can be done before you start losing detail.

I see, they're great pictures though, that's why I've been wanting to scan them and share them becuase they're hard to find. Here's another great one.

What I like about Snake's look is his worn out and fatigued expression with suspense in his eyes. Since in the story Snakes portrayed as a soldier that has been fighting too long.

Took a quick stab at the first one, I got rid of a lot of the canvas but theres only so far I can push it before I lose the detail on the characters.

Yeah, Metal Gear Wasted: Crack Attack. Snake looks more like Kane Hodder there, his eyes are right out of Friday the 13th. And I like the Willem Dafoe version on the MGS 1 image. Anyway, I don't know about smoothness, but Raiden needed some reconstructive surgery ASAP, it's a quickie job, but anything's better than that.

Again, not very good, but plug it in the picture and it's a 1000% improvement. At least your eyes won't be drawn to a sea of red. =)​

nice work! I plugged it in and really prefer it. I was thinking the same thing, it looks like he ate a fudge ice cream bar...

No problem, I really dug it aside from those lips, and it does make a fine MGS2 80's movie poster with some text thrown on top.

Thanks. I've been wanting to put these up for like a year, but just never had a scanner. Luckily when no one is around at work... all kinds of procrstination occurs... hehehehe *evil fucking laugh*

But I'd have to thank CnC and Griffith for reworking them for me too, they have done some really nice jobs.

Nice work Griffith, real nice. I have a 1920 X 1200 desktop. Is there anyway you can get it around that size? Would be really appreciated. And I think you should really put your signature in there somewhere, because their bond to be stolen and put up on other sites. At least your sig would be in there somewhere.

Nah, it's not mine to put a stamp on, I just stuck them together. Plus, I always remove that crap in photoshop anyway, so why continue to the cycle? :guts:
