We often went to the cinema, the screen would light up and we would tremble, but also, increasingly often, Madeleine and I were disappointed. The images had dated, they jittered, and Marilyn Monroe had gotten terribly old. We were sad, this wasn't the film we had dreamed of, this wasn't the total film that we all carried around inside us, this film that we would have wanted to make, or, more secretly, no doubt, that we would have wanted to live.

In a flashback scene, I believe we see Cloud's town reactor and some monsters being created as it extracts Mako and Sephiroth starts to think about himself, his origins, etc.. And goes to read all the books in the old Mansion. Finding out his true nature left him insane, etc..  ;D

I don't think so? At one point (in the Shinra mansion), he _thought_ that he and Jenova were Cetras, but he was wrong.

It's the regular game with a few additions (new Sphere Grids, new abilities, new bosses, including der Richter, maybe the hardest Final Fantasy boss _ever_) and changes.
It was released as "Final Fantasy X International" in Japan, and will be the basis for the European versions of the game.
