What to do in Las Vegas?

I leave for Las Vegas in a week to visit my mum, has anyone ever been there before? My mom already got us tickets to see a couple of transvestite shows, but I need something to do while she is at work. I heard that gambling and paying for sex is very popular these days but I am not bringing enough cash to keep me satiated for seven whole days. Besides playing a little poker can anyone recommend any nice bars, clubs, arcades, or anything that I should see while I'm on the strip?

I was only a kid, but my parents and I stayed at the Luxor, and they had some pretty cool rides, a nice arcade, some fancy restaurants, and while I wasn't exactly privy to it, all the gambling and strip clubs you could want. But I guess you probably aren't staying there, and besides that I know nothing about the city. I'll let you know if I come across anything while I'm there this weekend.

When one of my team leaders was in Vegas he somehow convicned this blond chick to take nude photos for him. Then it turned out she's a crack head and he paid her five bucks to do it. [disclaimer: I've seen the pictures that's five bucks well spent.]

Edit: You should try that then host it on the internet for the Board to see. Also What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas does not apply to crabs or other STDS.

If you come across a casino called O'Shea's, hit it up. It's pretty cheap gambling and some of my friends made some good cash there. Also, the fast food joints in it aren't $5 over regular price like everywhere else, they're only 1 or 2 higher. Other than that, watch out for the latinos at every street corner handing out prostitute/strip club cards (eyes forward, keep walking). And if a guy comes up to you and says "try before you buy" hes actually selling cocaine- your call from there.

Well, I'm sure most cocaine dealers aren't quite as good at marketing their product, and therefor don't offer trial packs. But really, this guy was not too far from the MGM, so just walk around that area and look for a shifty guy standing around and you should be golden.

Have fun in Vegas dude. I know this is his thread but while he's gone I'd like to ask a question. My mom is going to let me and some friends use her timeshare. I can pretty much go anywhere in the world, only thing is...Japan isn't included :judo: So excluding Japan I need to make a careful decision here. Any suggestions?

Well I went to London a couple years back and had a great time but to be honest things like Big Ben and the London bridge were the most least enjoyable parts. Driving all over the place just to see landmarks and castles are interesting but I'm looking for more of an experience. Thing is there is so much out there and so much to see and since I'm a small town boy I really don't know what I'm missing. I could go anywhere, I just need to know what for. I was thinking about France actually. Is there anything specifically worth doing in France if we were to go? ( Yes Aaz, i get it. I'll stop by, you don't even have to ask. :guts:)

Nah seriously there's tons of stuff for tourists: museums, castles, churches and other landmarks, the Eiffel Tower, the Paris catacombs (my favorite), etc. I would recommend you to tour several European countries for a cool and diverse experience though. Maybe try Holland, Belgium, France, and Italy? You could rent a car and just cross the countries. Granted, Belgium is more of a drive-by experience, but they do have the best beers in the world and there's some nice food to experience there.

Seriously, there are a few nice sights in Belgium, like the city of Bruges, but they are few.

Yeah, I mean I like Belgium, but I wouldn't spend a week there if I just wanted to sightsee. Bruges is indeed quite nice though.

Hey friends, I'm back! I went and seen the sights and lost a lot of money playing poker tournaments. If it wasn't for seeing my mom this trip would have been a waste. I didn't even see any hookers! Seriously though, this town is pathetic. Seeing everyone in line to cash their checks inside the casino only to give it right back to them, it's very sad. Fear and Loathing actually portrayed that town pretty accurately.
