I like the subject choice a lot, but you've done much better colorizations in the past. The font is also uhh... a little off.

Here is my background, it real simple. I just took out the page break in the scan and blacked out all the background. I am no photoshop expert so this is the best i can do, but I like it  ;D I use center and black background modes in display properties and it fits perfect running 1280x1024.

It's by Puccio, he's made a lot of these for Berserk Chronicles. I personally prefer Griffith on his sand castle.

That one's great as well.
Berserk Chronicles has recently made an English mirror of their site(unless it was there all along and I have just been really blind),
which makes it much easier to look around, because it really is a great site.(the Italian version still has more though..)
