i'd say that works fairly well with gatts that or "payback by slayer" it depends on what mood gatts is in

Thats like a suicidal lyric, that doesnt work for Guts at all!

Although i love metal, for me its Hirasawa all the way...the solo albums and especially the Berserk DC game OST.

I've read that Miura himself listens to Hirasawa while drawing Berserk.

I have an evil confession to make. I found out about berserk because of the anime (which I loved since it was the first thing berserk I saw). I've thought of two music videos to do with the series, one being a parody, the other just for the last episode (the eclipse)

Lighthouse - Hanging by a moment (parody showing the love between griffith and Gattsu, You got to admit, "Standing here until you make me move" would be funny if it's song when Griffith is standing above Gattsu naked)

Papa Roach - Last Resort (don't give a f*** if I cut my arm bleeding when Gattsu is hacking away at this arm)

In all seriousness, there's a lot of good songs for berserk. I like this thread since there's new music groups people are suggesting which sounds interesting. I have to say that there's a few music types that fit with berserk be it gothic to new gothic/metal/whatever (Rhapsody, Iced earth, Malice Mizer, susumu, etc.)

I'll have to listen to quite a few things before I make up my mind on a good character theme for someone, there's just too many choices :)

Ok u know the love triangle b/t Guts, caska and griffith. Of course you do. Well if u did an AMV from caska's POV and used Jewel's song "Foolish Games", i really think you could have a good video thanks makes sense. The song really fits her if you think about what must be going through her head throughout the series.

Most of the lines could just be applied the beast of a man himself. Though the song may not be the most popular among you people, I think it's suitable.

Griffith/ Femto- Radio Head's "Pyramid Song"

"Blacked eyed angels swam with me."

God that is such a creepy song and fits the Femto form/transformation process nicely. Definately a song worth checking out.

Caska - Queen "Somebody to love."

if you want Berserk-like German Metall try the older Tracks of "In Extremo"! Very cool middle-age-metall with bagpipes. Or check out "Subway to Sally"...

And for the "Enya"-Fans... forget "Enya" and try out "Loreena McKennit"! Wonderful celtic vocals that fit perferctly for the calm moments of Berserk.

I assume that you speak German, can you please translate Mein Herz Brennt into english (the whole song), so i can figure out that it's really brainless, if it's the case. ?
Also, if i thought this song could fit Berserk, it wasn't for the lyrics but for the voice of the singer and the music. If you don't like the idea, you don't need to "please don't connect them to Berserk", you can just say "In my opinion, Rammstein's songs are not appropriate for Berserk".
