Been watching on tv. Seems to be spectators that were injured.

Damn, what was the cause? Could that have been a terrorist attack?

Happened near my neck of the woods. I know of two runners locally that were in the race.

Been watching ABC news. Boston police have reported 23 injured and 2 dead. This happened 3 hours after the elite runners were done . So mostly spectators waiting for the last wave of runners was there.

That's awful. Hope the 2 people you knew are safe, Walter.

Just read about this a few minutes ago. Horrible. Hopefully, they got the area on lock-down fast enough to catch anybody who may have been responsible (if they were still in the area, and not suicide bombers or something).

Some are speculating to domestic terrorism because they were also celebrating patriots day in Boston (April 19)

I wouldn't be so eager to point fingers yet, still a lot we don't know. Remember we've foiled many Islamic plots similar to this in the past. Time Square being one of them.

I have a lot of friends and family in Boston. My cousin lives just 15 minutes from where the explosions went off. Luckily everyone is fine. It's so scary though, especially thinking about how much time i spend in Boston and right in that area even.

That's why I said "most likely" and not "it was".

Manhunt going on in Boston. Has been since late last night. Too much information to post, but I imagine most, if not everyone, already know about it.

BBC is doing a good job of covering this.

It looks like this is about to wrap up. The suspect is cornered.
