I remember these, but I didn't like them because they didn't feel "real" enough as definitive "hard copies," which is kind of ridiculous in retrospect.

If I recall the benefit was you could have entire swaths of authentic game scores that barely left a footprint (which mattered more then), but they could also work a little strangely and didn't really translate to other playback  mediums like your average sound file.
